Frequently asked questions
- How do I resize an image without losing quality?
- Making an image smaller is essentially lossless — you are discarding pixels you no longer need. Quality problems come from enlarging, or from saving at a low JPG quality. Keep the aspect ratio locked and choose PNG or WEBP if you need the sharpest possible result.
- What size should my image be?
- It depends on where it will be used. Instagram posts are 1080×1080, YouTube thumbnails 1280×720, and a full-width website hero is usually 1920×1080. The quick presets set these for you.
- Will resizing change the aspect ratio?
- Only if you want it to. With “Lock aspect ratio” checked, entering a width fills in the matching height automatically so the image never looks stretched. Uncheck it to force exact dimensions.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Uploads are capped at 10MB per image, and the minimum dimension is 16×16 pixels.
- Are my images stored on your servers?
- No. Images are processed in memory and deleted the moment your download is sent. They are never written to disk or shared.
